The Gatlinburg Farmers Market: Country Living at Its Most Delicious

Assortment of carrots kale walnuts berries tomatoes

In Tennessee we enjoy clean, simple country living, and that means taking advantage of all nature’s bounty amid these magnificent Great Smoky Mountains. On Saturdays from 8:30 to noon, you too can experience a bit of what makes our little region of the world so special at the Gatlinburg Farmers Market. Now in its eighth season, the Farmers Market prides itself on bringing longtime residents and visitors the finest, freshest locally-sourced fruits, vegetables, berries, nuts, jams, jellies, baked goods, and much more. In addition to the edibles, you’ll also find a variety of natural health products, all crafted according to old fashioned Appalachian know-how. As you browse the various booths, you’ll also be treated to live music performed by some of the best musicians here in the Smokies. Folks who stop by on Saturday, Aug 13, are in for a special treat, the Herb Festival with Tomato and Culinary Arts dish tasting and flavor competition.
