12 Days of Christmas in Pigeon Forge
As you drive through Pigeon Forge on your way to Gatlinburg in Tennessee, you will see the light displays featuring the elements from the 12 Days of Christmas song: a partridge in a pear tree, two turtle doves, three French hens, four calling birds, five gold rings, six geese a laying, seven swans a swimming, eight maids a milking, nine ladies dancing, ten lords a leaping, eleven pipers piping, twelve drummers drumming. If you do not know them by heart yet, print this screen and take it with you. It makes for a fun memory exercise for the whole family.
When you vacation in the area for a few days and you see the display over and over, you might be surprised how fast you can learn it by heart. It also helps if you have the song in the car with you. We recommend the version sung by Julian Ovenden and Katie Marshall on the Christmas at Downton Abbey album. Oh, the joy of their British accents and pure voices!
