A Smoky Mountain Easter

Colored eggs nestled on tulips

For many folks, April is all about springtime and Easter, and the city of Gatlinburg and the surrounding areas has a myriad of activities in honor of both. First, check out the Great Smoky Easter Arts & Crafts Show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center April 17 - April 20. You’ll find an abundance of handmade arts and crafts from local and guest artisans. Next, enjoy a delightful brunch with the Easter Bunny at the Old Mill Pottery House Café and Grille. There’ll be door prizes and lots of fun and games for the little ones.

Afterward, head over to Patriot Park on April 20 for a traditional Easter egg hunt. On Easter Sunday, April 21, take a free tram ride to the top of Mount Harrison at the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Area to experience a glorious sunrise and Easter service at Easter Sunrise at Ober. Sponsored by the Gatlinburg Ministerial Association, the service will be performed by local pastors, and the offerings collected will be used by the Association to assist the needy.
