A Smoky Mountains Lifestyle

There’s nothing quite like breathing in the crisp and cool, high-altitude air. And there are plenty of good, healthy vibes to go around the Smoky Mountains, with its rotation of weekend festivals and bountiful harvests. The staff at Zoder’s Inn want to steer you to a few of these treats. A favorite is the Gatlinburg Farmers Market, which opened back in May and happens every Saturday from 8:30am to noon. Be sure to return to Zoder’s for any necessary lunchtime naps.

Fall in Tennessee is something truly special and there’s almost too much to highlight. The Annual Taste of Autumn grabs the spotlight on September 15th, from 5-8pm in the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Combine this foodie event with the upcoming beer extravaganza, Oktoberfest, and you’ll have a happy stomach in no time. Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park hosts the famous dedication to German cuisine and fermentation between September 23rd and October 30th.
