Fall Events Around Gatlinburg

Harvest scene of dried corn and pumpkins in a row

Hotels in the Smokies have transformed their looks for a fall celebration. You will see corn stalks, scarecrows, pumpkins and fall flowers everywhere. Some Zoders Gatlinburg reviews have referenced the beautiful fall décor at Zoder’s Inn and Suites.

If you live in a city and it is difficult to get to a farm to walk through a cornfield maze or pick up pumpkins from a pumpkin patch, find your way to Sevier County. Several local farms offer fall events for the entire family. I especially like the mazes for small children. They are great for developing gross motor skills and a 3D awareness.

This fall, skip the movie theater and use the money instead for a visit to a farm. It makes for a great family outing and conversation. Additionally, it supports our farmers, who work extremely hard for a living.
