With spring on the way, registration has opened for several fun events in Gatlinburg. Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts offers community classes for children, young adults, and adults throughout the year. There are reduced fees for these classes for local residents.

If you are not local, Arrowmont has plenty of programs for you. For instance, on April 13-15, Arrowmont will organize over 100 different workshops in a variety of media under the name Hands On Gatlinburg. Visit the website www.handsongatlinburg.com to pick your workshop and register.

Many hotels in the Smokies will run special fees for this event, so you will want to ask as you book.
