In the colorful months of fall Gatlinburg simply crackles with life. As we get into the familiar holiday swing of things, these picks for music festivals and craft shows should keep you going.

November 19th and 21st

The busy folks who operate the Sugarlands Distilling Company snap together the Sugarlands Spirits Stage on premises. Catch these 7:00 pm performances of Great Smoky Mountains sound: Nick Dittmeier and the Sawdusters is a four piece ensemble  bringing audiences around the country a playlist of midwest Americana. The Rough and Tumble is a restless folk duet originally from Nashville. They’ve been on the road since quitting their day jobs to create great music.

November 22nd through 27th

Handcrafted remains an attractive quality in what seems to be an increasingly digital world. Gatlinburg’s Thanksgiving Arts & Crafts Show wants to remedy the situation with eight miles of independent artisan shops. Our Tennessee craftspeople weave baskets, stuff bears, and stitch leather handbags that you can take home and treasure forever. They make great holiday gifts too!
