Gatlinburg’s Holly Jolly Holiday Season

Wrapped Chocolate Santas

This month, we invite our guests and visitors to help us kick off the holiday season with a cornucopia of events and activities, like the following listed here. First, chase the chill away by sampling dozens of savory chili recipes in downtown Gatlinburg on November 7. The Chili Cookoff is the traditional start of our annual Winterfest, and all are encouraged to vote for their favorite recipe. Millions of holiday lights will brighten the night and live music will keep the party going. Afterward, board the Trolley Ride of Lights to enjoy a tour of the City’s dazzling light displays in warmth and comfort.

Next, surprise your fussiest family members and friends with unique, artisan-crafted gifts from the Great Smoky Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts Show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center on November 21-26. Grab your holiday shopping list and browse for pottery, jewelry, quilts, candles, and more. While you’re there, be sure to visit the Festival of Trees from November 21-25. There’ll be entertainment, kid’s activities, and photos with Santa, along with trees and wreaths beautifully outfitted for the season. Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains. For more information, call (800) 568-4748.
