July in Gatlinburg

american flag and fireworks

The ultimate Gatlinburg Tennessee vacation happens in July. This is when you can catch the nation’s first fourth of July parade – at midnight! Hiking in the National Park is very pleasant, although you do have to be prepared for the occasional, unexpected summer shower. If you miss it, don't worry. There are other events going on. Hanging out at your hotel’s pool does not sound bad, either, while an ice cream cone at Mad Dog’s Ice Cream Parlor on Hwy. 321 touches every fiber of your being. All this to say, July is divine here in Gatlinburg. Come to the Volunteer State and experience our famous hospitality!
