September Features the Taste of Autumn and a Harvest Festival

One Fallen Red Maple Leaf Amid Trees with Additional Fall Foliage

Fall is one of the best times for a Gatlinburg staycation, as the leaves begin to change to glorious shades of gold, red, yellow, and orange. And, the area doesn’t disappoint when it comes to attractions, events, and activities either – no matter what time of year you visit, there's an abundance of entertainment for adults and kids of all ages. This month is no exception and we have selected two local events to recommend to our guests. First, taste delicious culinary concoctions at the Gatlinburg Convention Center when the 21st Annual Taste of Autumn arrives on September 13.

Entertainment will be provided by Beatles tribute band Abbey Road Live, and all monies collected will go directly to the United Way of Sevier County. Also, lovely seasonal decorations, including pumpkins, brightly-colored leaves, scarecrows, and other iconic autumn touches will grace our local streets from September 7-November 25, when Gatlinburg celebrates the annual Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival. For details on the above events, call us at (800) 568-4748.
