If there ever was a perfect moment in a Gatlinburg TN hotel, it would happen on a September morning, as you wake up refreshed from a good night's sleep and head over to where they serve a hot breakfast. The air is crisp but not cold, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the squirrels scuttle about. There is no traffic as you head over to the Aquarium and the shops downtown. Perfect!
If the hotel in which you find yourself is Zoders Gatlinburg, then you will hear the creek running by as you walk on the property. Maybe you even stay in a room with a private balcony overlooking the creek. Ducks splash in the water and an occasional bear waddles by like he owns the place.
Please do not feed the bears anything, as it kills them by teaching them to rely on humans for their daily bread. But feel free to feed the ducks. There is a container with duck feed on the property of Zoders Gatlinburg.
