Summer Is Here
It's official: summer has arrived. Gatlinburg attractions beckon, so our streets are teeming with people. Some prefer to stay in Gatlinburg hotels on the strip. Others love staying at Zoders Inn, which is on the Parkway, but before you get to Light #3 and, as such, a bit tucked away from all the downtown bustle. If you stay at Zoders Inn and Suites, you will get to relax on our quiet five-acre resort while being close to Gatlinburg Tennessee attractions.
We hope hiking in the National Park is high on your list of things to do in Gatlinburg. Take your children and let them experience nature. If you need some inspiration toward that goal, make sure you pick up a copy of “Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder” by Richard Louv at your local library. You will learn that American society has been alienating children from nature in the name of safety and supervision, how disastrous the results are, and what to do about it.
